Why a printed brochure boosts sales

Kooltech’s latest product brochure is a vital weapon in their marketing armoury.

“This is the third book Quiet Storm have produced for us and it’s a major way for us to increase product sales,” states Brand Manager Bob Farrington.

“Even though this is an age where everything is digital and internet based I think there is still a need for a hard copy. In wholesaling there needs to be a combination of both. Ours is a specialist industry and a quality brochure is a great tool for our engineers when they are in front of customers. It is also a reference guide to leave with clients that promotes our products and technical expertise.”

As well as showcasing Kooltech’s air conditioning and refrigeration equipment range the brochure contains prices, service information and a wealth of technical data. “The design is great, making it easy for customers to find the products and information they need. It’s always a pleasure working with Quiet Storm. Their flexibility is superb and they are always on schedule.”

Kooltech is one of the UK's largest independently owned distributors of refrigeration and air conditioning products and has branches throughout the UK. The 128 page, full colour brochure produced by Quiet Storm is designed with the customers’ needs in mind. Product searches are made easy by featuring a product category index as well as an alphabetical listing of all products and accessories. By including helpful information such as a glossary of manufacturers fault codes and a conversion factor table, Kooltech ensure their brochure is seen as an essential reference guide by customers, who are likely to keep it close at hand.

“We put a great deal of thought and effort into the brochure,” explains Bob Farrington. “We have it printed in A5 size as it’s convenient for the customers but Quiet Storm also create a larger, A4 version which we give to our sales engineers.

“I find that the design team at Quiet Storm completely understand what I want to achieve and are able to interpret my ideas and incorporate them into the design. Because our product range is extensive a great deal of data is included but Quiet Storm are great partners and make the whole process painless.”
