Managing Director Adam Marlow said: "As a company we were growing our client base quite comfortably but we wanted more focus on proactive work. I asked Quiet Storm to come up with a new image for us and during our discussions they identified that we were working in two distinct markets. As well as offering traditional year-end accountancy services we also work more closely with some clients, advising them throughout their financial year. So, a new brand was created, Marlow Proactive, which focuses on business growth, tax planning and proactive financial management.

"We have definitely attracted new clients through this more targeted approach. It has shown people that we are serious about the proactive message and the services involved. Quiet Storm have provided us with an easy to follow framework for marketing our services and ensured we stand out from the competition."

The rebranding package included logo design, stationery, business cards, brochure, a corporate folder and new websites with Mailblast. When creating a fresh new look for a company the colour scheme and logo are key. For Marlow Proactive, Quiet Storm incorporated elements of the established brand into the new design to help retain a familiar feel for clients. With this decided, work could begin on the website. Adam Marlow chose from the Storming range of website templates. These offer incredible value and include a simple to use content management system and a range of features such as lead generators, download areas and a landing page generator. All of the options in the Storming range include one year’s free hosting, domain name registration and a free non-geographical phone number. The sites are search engine optimised and full visitor stats are available via the Quiet Storm Knowledge Bank. There is also free access to Quiet Storm’s photo library.

The business stationery, corporate folder and brochure were all designed and produced in house using Quiet Storm’s digital print facilities. This enables economic production of low quantity print runs – a cost effective solution for small and medium size companies.

With the new branding for Marlow Proactive now established the company has been forging ahead with its marketing strategy. They had already built a reputation for providing a full range of business advisory services and by taking the time to listen to their clients’ concerns and understand their business. Marlow Proactive delivers a superior level of financial support and advice to help clients achieve their personal and business goals. It is a partnership approach designed to drive a client’s company forward through a structured business development process. A sliding scale of services starts with quarterly performance reviews whilst the Financial Controller offering includes a 5 year business plan or exit strategy and professional coaching and mentoring.
