Just In Time brochures help distributor cut costs and boost sales

With a rapidly changing product range, brochures don’t have to become out of date before they can be sent – Brochures on demand are a more cost effective and efficient way to present your message on paper.

When we told Europe’s leading supplier of precision instrumentation and sensor solutions, Charnwood Instruments, that they should have their brochures digitally printed, they thought it would be too expensive. But when we presented the benefits including having a brochure on hand that is always up to date at the time of being sent and pointed out that it was more cost effective than the traditional alternative, they wanted to know more.

Managing Director Graham Watson said "While we recognised the need for a brochure, our past experience told us it was usually out of date a week or two after printing.

"When we first looked at the prices for digital printing the unit cost appeared too expensive against traditional print – until we looked at the hidden cost of throwing more than half away because they were out of date.

"A number of our existing clients have commented on how good the brochure is and we are confident that it will help us increase our market share still further."

The entire brochure was produced in-house at Quiet Storm – from the digital product photography and copy writing to the digital print & finishing. The major benefit of everything being under the one roof is that there is now a system in place for any future product updates and additions to the brochure.

"We are now looking to work with Quiet Storm to translate the new look and product information to a website. This would mean that a central database of all our current products, images and copy are only available from a single source. This will make managing any marketing activity so much easier, freeing up internal resources to concentrate on sales" added Graham.
