Gone are the days of storing thousands of out of date leaflets or brochures – print on demand is here to stay.
Customer Focused Product Brochures
Flint, the UK’s leading specialist electronic component distributor – covering semiconductors, smart card technology, connectors, passives and discretes – realised that the brochures they were sending out had huge sections irrelevant to the recipients and were almost always out of date.
Quiet Storm has created the perfect solution – a website which creates a brochure specific to an individual client’s requirements.
Potential Flint clients can visit the company’s website and decide which sections of the entire (and rather large) product portfolio they would like in a brochure format. Within four days of submitting a completed request they receive their personalised, dated and printed product brochure.
Customers get precisely what they need: relevant information which is completely up to date.
Flint save the cost of having to print and post an entire brochure when only part is needed; on top of which they have detailed feedback on what products potential clients are interested in.
"Quiet Storm work very closely with us and, thanks to their wide range of services, are able to provide a complete solution. We simply vet the enquiries and specify whether the brochure should be full colour or black and white depending on the quality of the prospect," said Carl Barton, Flint Managing Director.
It has also been key in winning new franchises, in fact we have even produced brochures for manufacturers when they have been let down by their own marketing departments."
Digital print was added to the Quiet Storm in-house portfolio ten months ago and has helped secure several contracts including work from the NHS, LG Electronics, Loughborough College and local councils, in addition to enhancing the range of services available to their existing client base.
Flint’s brochure is generated using the content on the html pages on the website which means only one source of information needs
to be managed.
