A creative exhibition solution for Secure Retail

Founded as an electronics manufacturer in 1986 before transitioning into the payments sector in 2003, the Coalville-based firm is recognised and respected by world-leading manufacturers, software developers and the vast number of end customers it supports daily.

We’ve worked with Secure Retail on several projects over the years and were recently tasked with creating custom graphics for its exhibition stand to promote its brand at events during the year, including the Retail Technology Show.

 

A creative concept

Secure Retail was looking to make a massive impact at events by showcasing how its products can be used to help retail, leisure and hospitality businesses improve their customer experience. The challenge was sourcing the right type of ‘lifestyle’ images that showed its products in use in real-world settings.

Our approach was to use our knowledge and understanding of the Secure Retail brand to source the right ‘hero’ images for the stand, onto which we could superimpose its handheld devices using photoshop. Our designer, Bob, sourced the right stock images. He then delivered a product photography session at Secure Retail’s head office to capture pictures of the products at the right angles and positions, so they could be added to the stock images in the studio.

Once we created the composite images, we liaised with the stand builder to ensure they could be incorporated into the overall stand design. 

 

A complete solution

They worked closely with us to understand our brief and the message we were looking to get across with the stand, then went away to research the visuals and come back with something that looked amazing. 

“The Quiet Storm team took care of everything, from sourcing the imagery, setting up the product photography and then art working it in Photoshop, so it looked perfect when blown up to full size on the stand. They also liaised with our stand builder and took care of all the technical aspects to ensure the designs were submitted in the correct format, to the right dimensions, so they could get on with building the stand.
