Whitwick based marketing consultants Quiet Storm have donated their services to design and print fundraising Christmas cards for local charity Hospice Hope. The stunning cards, featuring a Christmas tree and stars forming a heart shape, will be on sale in outlets throughout North West Leicestershire and will be priced at under £2 per pack.
Philip Megson, Director of Quiet Storm said: “We have a firm commitment to supporting our local community and we are delighted to use our design expertise and production facilities to support the fundraising efforts of Hospice Hope. We wish the charity every success with the sale of the cards and with their other fundraising initiatives.”
Hospice Hope is a non-profit making registered charity with a committee and membership of more than 30 people. It was formed to support residents of North West Leicestershire who require palliative care or who are terminally ill. The charity aims to establish a day support centre in the District and, in the longer term, a hospice.
Sharon Marvin from the Hospice Hope fundraising committee said: “We are thrilled with the Christmas cards designed and produced so kindly for us by Quiet Storm. As a charity we are totally reliant on the goodwill of the general public and local businesses and we appreciate their generosity and participation. The people of North West Leicestershire desperately need a local hospice and the charity’s ultimate aim is to provide one.”
Information on where to purchase the Christmas cards will be posted on the Hospice Hope website www.hospicehope.org.uk .
