The company employs more than 40 people at its state-of-the-art headquarters in Derbyshire and has won acclaim from leading house builders for its product quality and its superior service. Its sister company, Marvic Joinery specialises in timber bending and bespoke joinery work.
When Managing Director Neil Bark decided to increase industry and public awareness of their products he sought the marketing expertise of Quiet Storm. He wanted promotional materials that would work together to create brand awareness and reflect the quality and professionalism of both companies and the services they offer. He explained: “When you are working with wood, people often perceive you as manufacturing in a dusty workshop. At Central Joinery and at Marvic we have a team of dedicated, skilled craftsmen creating traditional products within a modern company working in modern premises. Our marketing efforts needed to convey that message and showcase our product range in a way that would appeal to the layman as well as to the building trade. We asked Quiet Storm to create a design style and so create a stronger brand image, first for our brochure and more recently for a new website.
“Our existing website was not generating many enquiries and was not in a format that was attracting search engines. Our main objective was to have a new site that was current, modern and in line with the product we manufacture. We needed the easy edit capabilities that Quiet Storm offer so that we can add case studies and news items whenever we want. This will keep the site fresh and of interest to the search engines. Because we are appealing to the general public as well as industry customers we needed the site to be user friendly with plenty of photographs and also contain the technical data needed by the business visitors.
