Organised by the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce and co-hosted by the Derby Evening Telegraph, the celebrity host for this year’s event was Clive Anderson with his own brand of humour and cutting wit.
“For an event of this scale and profile success is mandatory, failure to deliver a less than excellent experience for all guests, sponsors and finalists can have catastrophic repercussions” said Sharon Forton, Director of Member Services for the Chamber, “Quiet Storm have been a part of the Business Awards event for the last 5 years and that says a great deal”.
“Every event has its challenges and it is the sheer scale and logistics of this event that presents the biggest headache. The whole event begins with the call for applicants and runs for almost 9 months. During this period we have various events and challenges, Quiet Storm are always there to support us, whether it is by stepping in at the eleventh hour when we have been let down by a supplier, or by providing sound advice, they have been a very reliable and consistent presence of the Derbyshire Business Awards.”
For this year’s 2007 Business Awards, Quiet Storm worked with Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber to produce and deliver:
- Application Forms promoting the event
- Adverts promoting the different categories
- Tickets and certificates
- The evening event which included video of all of the finalists
- The 2007 Business Awards landing page on the Chamber’s website
- The evening’s programme of events literature
